In October, Land Covenantors Victoria hosted a practical panel discussion with people who understand both fire and conservation land. A recording of the webinar can be found above.

Speakers included:

• Sharon Merritt AFSM, a CFA brigade captain who has nearly 30 years' experience as a volunteer and staff member, including work in vegetation management, planned burning and fire prevention.
• Vicky Collins, Emergency Management Officer with the Southern Grampians Shire Council, who works with landholders to prepare for fire seasons.
• Lincoln Kern, who has worked in ecological consultancy and restoration since 1993 and manages covenanted bush properties himself.
