AGM & SGM online and in person: Monday 7th October 2024

Annual & Special General Meeting with guest speaker Bram Mason, Nature and Biodiversity Manager, Bank Australia.

(Who knew a bank would have a biodiversity manager?)

Our third Annual and Special General Meeting is coming up on Monday 7th October at 7.30pm, and we're inviting you to attend either online via Zoom or in-person at the Royal Society of Victoria, 8 La Trobe Street, Melbourne. At the meeting we will also vote on a special amendment to our Rules of Incorporation. This is our third attempt to meet the requirements for tax-deductible gift recipient status, fingers crossed the goal posts don’t shift again!

We're also pleased to confirm that our previous committee members were re-elected and as no additional nominations were received, there was no need for members to vote.

Following the formalities we will hear from guest speaker Bram Mason.

Bram will speak about Bank Australia’s four conservation reserves in Western Victoria, which are protected by Trust for Nature covenants. In his role as Nature and Biodiversity Manager, Bram helps to guide management of the reserves including the ongoing monitoring program and developing partnerships with Traditional Owners and environmental organisations.

Bank Australia is also keen to support and encourage people to buy and protect bush blocks, which is a refreshing approach when thinking of both our current and future generations of covenantors!

There will be time for questions and mingling, so we hope to meet some of you in person!
