PARTNERSHIPS

Protecting, restoring and reconnecting landscapes.

LCV collaborates with a wide range of organisations that share a common goal of conserving our natural heritage and learning from Traditional Owners.

LVC recognises the intimate association of First Nations peoples in caring for country. We will explore mechanisms for fostering access to, and involvement in management of, covenanted properties by Indigenous Victorians, and would encourage members to explore opportunities to engage with First Nations groups in the management of their properties.

Trust for Nature is one of Australia’s oldest conservation organisations, whose purpose is to work with Victorians to protect nature on private land forever.

The Rendere Trust is a founding funder of LCV. Rendere provides funding, strategic advice and resources to a wide range of environmental organisations, helping them achieve greater impact on the ground.

The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA) work with a range of agencies and stakeholders to protect and preserve Victoria’s native landscape.

Landcare Victoria Inc logo

Landcare Victoria Inc is one of the largest environmental volunteer organisations in Victoria, fostering on-ground community led action. LCV is a proud member group of Landcare Victoria Inc.

LCV is proud to be an affiliate of the Royal Society of Victoria, who have been promoting science since 1854.

Land for Wildlife Victoria logo

Land for Wildlife (Victoria) is a voluntary program, run by the State government, supporting landholders or managers who provide habitat for native wildlife on their land.

LCV is a proud member of the Ecolands Collective - a group of active and emerging environmental organisations committed to private land conservation, better land stewardship and empowering people to leave a living environmental legacy for future generations.

Organisations beyond Victoria

LCV is part of a growing Australia-wide movement.

The Australian Land Conservation Alliance (ALCA) is the peak national body representing organisations that work to conserve, manage and restore nature on privately managed land.

The Biodiversity Council works with experts, communities, Traditional Owners, farmers, government and industries to solve Australia’s biodiversity crisis.
