BOARD MEMBER & PROJECT MANAGER

Kathy Cogo

Bio: Kathy was once a roving ABC journalist and broadcaster and is now a strategic communications and engagement professional with 15 years’ experience across government bodies, community and not-for-profit organisations. Her background includes sustainable agriculture, marine science, water, conservation and food systems.

During her five years at Trust for Nature, including as a member of the executive team, she helped strengthen support for conservation across Victoria through partnerships, fundraising and community engagement.

Outside of work, she helps manage a conservation covenant in the Port Phillip district and is involved in local Landcare projects focused on protecting and restoring habitat for threatened species, including the wonderful Southern Brown Bandicoot.

Land Covenantors Victoria acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Victoria and their deep connections to land, water and community. We pay our respect to their Elders past and present and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples today.
